SPACE HIRE

EXHIBIT WITH SURFACE

Surface comprises over 200 square metres of exhibition space, split across two gallery spaces: a main gallery, and a project space.

We actively support emerging and mid-career artists, and provide a range of services as standard, including:

Flyers designed by our in-house design team, and printed and distributed by our marketing team.
Press release written and distributed by our marketing team.
Exhibition promoted through our social media channels and newsletter (~20,000 followers in total).
Full invigilation cover provided for the duration of the exhibition.

We also provide a donations bar during openings, and can provide technical assistance for setups depending on requirements.

Main Gallery Space

The main gallery space is street facing, with large windows at the front. It measures approximately 16 x 7 metres, and has a professional lighting rig installed.

Prices:
- £400 one week
- £600 two weeks
- £750 three weeks
Event Hire:
- £120 per day (six hours)
- £60 per half day (three hours)
- £90 per evening (three hours)

Project Space

The space measures approximately 16 x 7 metres, and has a large skylight in the centre.

- £300 one week
- £500 two weeks
- £650 three weeks

SELECTION PROCESS

All prospective exhibitors must submit an exhibition proposal, which will be assessed to determine whether the applicant meets the required criteria.

Work is assessed on its merits, rather than the past achievements of the artist. There is no preference regarding medium in which the artwork is made.
