workshops at surface gallery
As part of Surface's goal to connect art with the local community, we will be running a series of workshops through 2017 with resident artists and Surface alumni!
The workshops are open to all and offer a great chance to develop, or learn, a new skill, meet people from the local community and challenge your own imagination.

Please bring any of those interesting scraps, trinkets, treen*, talismans, treasures, ephemera, charms, bits and pieces you have been holding onto with the vague notion....“ONE Day I will do something with that”...WELL now is your chance!
*small wooden domestic objects from the old plural for ‘tree’.
Paul is an experienced teacher who will introduce you to some surprisingly creative approaches to 3D designing/ sculpture and /or storytelling in relief constructions.
