‘Surface’ is the inaugural launch of a new organisation and an exhibition to examine the effect of site-specific study transported into a gallery space. Project29 was formed to re-address all questions about why artists need to communicate ideas and how study is delivered and appropriated to an audience.

Surface Gallery presents Open Show 2010 which this year will be held between 20th July
and 7th August 2010.
This exciting annual exhibition once again explores new creative avenues and encourages
unique and experimental work. Open Show provides up and coming artists with the
opportunity to enter and compete in an international open call out exhibition, and acts as a
platform for showcasing individual art pieces non basis of artists background and previous
achievements.
