Surface Gallery

Visitor Information

The Gallery is located in the Nottingham Voluntary Action Centre which is on Mansfield Road opposite House of Fraser and the Peacock Pub hotel. You will need to sign in on arrival at reception. The Gallery is downstairs in the basement of the building.

The gallery is open from 11am - 5pm Monday to Friday during exhibition periods. We are closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and News Years Day.

Entry to the gallery is free.

The nearest parking facilities can be found in the Victoria Centre, on street parking is also available.

There are regular bus services to Nottingham city centre from the surrounding locality. Buses that terminate at the Victoria Centre best serve the gallery.

The Gallery has wheelchair access.

This Is Not Our City

‘This Is Not Our City’ is a group exhibition by Julie Kilminster, Jessica Little, Anna Newbon, Catherine Head, Nicola Ann Naylor, Matthew Everatt, Francis O Donnell Smith, Hayley Vann, Alex Thomson, Jane McFadden and Kerry Ann Taylor. Their work stems from photographic, video and painterly backgrounds, sitting well together as an interesting, diverse group exhibition.
