The Gallery is located behind the Ice Arena, just off Huntingdon Street, it is next to the Old Drum Centre and opposite Pretty Windows Day Nursery.
Usual Opening Times:
Tuesday to Friday 12am - 6pm
Saturday 11am - 5pm during exhibition periods.
Please note: As opening times may vary for different exhibitions, we recommend that you check exhibition dates and opening times before making your journey in order to avoid disappointment. If you are unsure, please contact the gallery and we will be happy to advise you of our current opening times.
Changes to usual opening times can be found under What's on.
During these times, please use the buzzer on the door if you find it is locked.
Group Visits: We are always pleased to welcome groups to the gallery. You do not need to call ahead to let us know you are coming, but if you have any special requirements we will be happy to discuss these with you in advance of your visit.
Accessibility: There is full wheelchair access to the gallery space, but please note that our only toilet facilities are on the first floor which does not have wheelchair access.
Entry to the gallery is free.
Getting There
By bus:
Bus services 25 and 27 travel from Nottingham King Street to Carlton every 10 minutes. Get off at the first stop on Southwell rd just after turning off from the ice arena. We are straight across the road.
By car:
The nearest parking facility can be found at Sneinton Market. From the city centre Upper Parliament Street A6008 Turn right onto South Sherwood Street A6008 Turn right onto Burton Street A6008 Continue onto A6008 Turn right onto Milton Street A60 Bear left onto Lower Parliament Street A6008 Bear left onto King Edward Street A6008 At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Bath Street, Turn right onto Gedling Street, walk along freckingham street, Turn right onto to Southwell Rd. We are opposite Pretty Windows Day Nursery.
Walking:
It takes about 10 minutes to walk to us from the city centre. From Upper Parliament street, bear right onto Lower Parliament Street, bear right onto Huntingdon Street continue on Huntingdon Street, turn left onto Southwell Road.
Trains:
The Gallery is only half a mile from Nottingham’s mainline station.
