Seven visionary films exploring the formal properties of their medium. Everything will be shown in its original format, 16mm or
video, which is an exciting first for Annexinema.
Annexinema have brought together seven visionary films exploring the formal properties of their medium. From early abstract optical experiments, hand-drawn 16mm peyote visions, stroboscopic studies of colour and rhythm, to early video experiments, film as sculpture, and contemporary abstractions.
All films will be shown on their original 16mm format, except for the film by Steina & Woody Vasulka which is video.
Space is limited, so please arrive early to ensure entry.
a comfy cushion is also recommended.
